About Zheng Kaiyuan

Zheng Kaiyuan is an operational meteorologist at the ASEAN Specialised Meteorological Centre (ASMC) with close to 10 years of experience in weather forecasting as well as hazards and environmental monitoring. In his operational work, he monitors weather, fire and haze situation over the ASEAN region by analysing data from weather satellites, radar and other observing systems as well as to provide weather and haze assessment to various stakeholders in the region to aid in downstream decision-making.
